Our team developed the Electrical Systems and Special Systems conceptual design and we were the Construction Managers of record for these systems, including the Energy Management and Lighting Control Systems. |

Additionally, we provided Life Cycle Analysis, Commissioning services, consulting regarding the opportunity to implement on-site Renewable Power Generation, and assess the opportunity for Energy Star © and LEED © certifications. |

The project consisted of an existing shopping center redevelopment that expanded the existing center from 869,000 square feet to about 1.9 million square feet. It included 7 major department stores and was constructed in several phases. The final phase opened in October, 2003 after a 42 month construction schedule. |

We were the Design Build Engineers and Construction Managers of record for the Electrical Systems of this 2.8 million square feet of new retail and entertainment multi-districts center including the first Indoor Ski Slope and 4.8 million square feet of Parking Structures project located in East Rutherford New Jersey, from initial conceptual design through construction and tenant coordination. Our scope of work included but was not limited to medium and low voltage power distribution and utilization, emergency power generation, distribution and utilization, life safety and special systems. Additionally, we participated in assessing the facility Energy Efficiency and the opportunity to implement Renewable Power Generation. |

The project included the replacement of (4) single ended 15KV 1500KVA coupled unit substations with (2) double ended 15KV 2500KVA unit substations, 277/480V power distribution equipment, implementation of a new data acquisition based Power Monitoring system, and other systems. |
