       Your neighborhood school is growing.

To accommodate our enrollment and program needs, our local school board approved a proposal on June 18, 2015 for a two-story, permanent building to replace some of the aging portables in the back of campus.   This plan was initially generated by our student-led Project Green Proposal. This project was developed in collaboration with our community partner, Vrilakas - Groen Architects. Please Visit this page to obtain updates on the project.  We are grateful for this opportunity for our campus.

Project and Construction Updates

On June 6, 2016, we broke ground on our two - story classroom building.  We wish to thank our students, staff, families and community partners for celebrating with us and for helping this student - led project become a reality.

Pardon our dust.....

Construction is underway!  Thanks to our families, students and neighbors for your patience and teamwork while this project is completed. Construction will start after 7 AM on the weekdays and end no later than 5 PM.  Please be advised that at times we will all experience vibrations, general noise, the "beeping" sound of equipment backing up, and dust as the project is completed.  Please also be advised that at times traffic may be impacted on 36th street as that is the main entry for the construction crew. Campus will continue to be closed to the community during the summer as well as after program hours during the school year to promote safety.   We thank everyone in advance for respecting the boundaries set by the construction fencing.  Please check the website for additional updates.  This building is a great addition to our campus and to our neighborhood.

Please click on the link to the map below that outlines the protocol for ingress and egress on 36th Street starting September 1, 2016 through the completion of the project.
